Just about two months ago, we reported about the all-new e-bicycle and e-motorcycle brand dubbed FUELL, which revealed two products: the Fluid e-bike and the Flow e-motorcycle. This week, preorders opened up for the Flow … and it’s an incredibly compelling thing.

  • FUELL has opened pre orders on its Flow e-motorcycles
  • Interested buyers will need to place a refundable $500 deposit
  • Pricing for the 11 kWh Flow starts at $10,995 the 35 kWh bike at $11,995
  • The only option for the launch edition is color

To quickly refresh: The Flow is offered in two variants, a 11 kilowatt-hour and 35 kilowatt-hour model. The former is priced at $10,995.00 and the latter at $11,995.00. Customers can lease, finance, or pay cash for their Flow. Only a fully refundable $500 deposit is required to get your Flow in on the original production run build sheet. The deposit only becomes non-refundable once your bike goes to production.

Once it’s built, FUELL will deliver the Flow to your home. This, because it has no dealer network. However, FUELL does say that it has international network of service partners who will service the bike.

More than just well priced (less than half of Harley-Davidson’s Livewire), the bikes are pretty cutting-edge. Both Flow models feature the brand’s unique wheel-motor setup in which the electric motor is embedded inside the rear wheel. Fuel can do 150 miles per charge, and full recharge can be achieved in 30 minutes. What’s more, it boasts a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.7 seconds.

At launch, it appears buyers can only choose the color of front panel of their Flow, which includes black, silver, burgundy, and few others. However, FUELL contends that battery packs and wheel-motors can be upgraded throughout the life of the bike. Plus, the connected dashboard infotainment screen will receive regular updates.

The only catch with the Flow pre-orders is that FUELL doesn’t anticipate Flow going into production until late 2020. So, even if you do preorder one, you’ll be waiting to receive delivery for a while.
