In this episode of Ride News Now with Alison Haislip, Nissan has built an EV ice cream truck, is Florida Man ready for robotaxis, and Bentley taps kids for an EV race car program.
- First, Nissan has taken an NV200 cargo van and turned it into an ice cream truck… with a twist. This particular NV has been converted to run on electricity. Additionally, the refrigeration hardware is powered by recycled EV batteries taken from older Nissan electric vehicles.
- Next, we’re worried about Florida Man. A new bill has been signed into law in the southern state that will allow for a wide range of autonomous vehicle testing on public roads.
- Finally, Bentley has turned to children for help. The British automaker is building scaled-down electric race cars. It’s utilizing the help of some luxury school children to aid in the design, engineering, and even racing of these stylish machines.
