In this episode of Ride News Now with Alison Haislip, Airspeeders take to the sky, Tesla lets you play games while charging, and there’s an Uber-important bill on the docket in California.
- First up, a company called Airspeeder is looking to bring Formula 1 style racing to the skies. The firm has created electric octocopters and it wants to find pilots eager to race them against one another.
- Next, Tesla has a cure for charging station boredom. When your Tesla is parked at a Supercharger, you can activate a game system that plays through the central infotainment screen. Then you can use your actual steering wheel to control an on-screen racer in a Mario Kart-esque game.
- Finally, California has cooked up a bill that would force major changes to the way rideshare companies handle their employees.
