There’s no city in the world like the City Of Angels.

LA has very distinct culture. A lot of different cultures, in fact. One of them is traffic culture. It’s the subject of small talk. It’s a way of life.

It seems rush hour is perpetual; there is always traffic on the roads. And it seems to start before most people even wake up. 6AM-10AM? 3PM-8PM? Add in the traffic of lunch rush, and you might as well count every single daylight hour as “rush” in the Los Angeles Area.

Just in the course of filming this video, we spent seven hours in traffic. Call us dedicated professionals (or gluttons for punishment), but we wanted to figure out some little tips to help you avoid the pains of being on the roads while in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, there’s not a great infrastructure in this mega city to support alternative transportation besides traditional cars. You do have options depending on where you go –  from micro-mobility to car share, and public transportation to traditional car commuting.

So check out what Pete King has to offer you in Ride Guide: Los Angeles.
